Woodstock Deep Water Dacron Fishing Line, 2500 Yards/100# Test, White

Dacron fo da BEHEMOTHS of da DEEP!
Yeah, there's even the braided dacron...but it's the old-school dacron we're talking about here. With this 400yrds, and another 100yrds of 80# dacron for backing, I've the line strength and length to bring up anything in the Northern California Delta Region or S.F.-San Pablo-Susuin Bays. And I have...lunker striped bass and both the White and the elusive Golden Sturgeon. Dacron baby, it's what the serious use..
Great for replacing the strings on your mini-blinds
Not sure how this is for fishing, but this worked great as replacement lines for my mini-blinds (after the cats ate through the old ones). So now all I have to do is figure out what to do with the rest of the 380 yards!
Excellent value and hard to find
I grew up using Dacron fishing line on my grandfathers Penn 9s. A short while back I acquired 3 Penn 9s of my own. They were strung with monofilament which gave me a fit to throw. I was used to Dacron. Dacron has become impossible to find in any tackle shop around here. I was thrilled to find this online and at such a reasonable cost. It was enough for me to string 2 of my reels which I have done. Sadly I live 4 hours from the coast so I haven't yet had time to try it "under fire" but it looks and feels a lot like the old stuff I threw when I was a kid. The price was excellent too.
