Well equipped for Saltwater
The Shimano Saragossa series of spinning reels offer an excellent choice for saltwater fishing enthusiasts. They feature high quality internal gear components and a service port. The service port is a plastic screw that provides easy, direct access, to main gear components when wanting to lubricate the main gears. You can't get away without rinsing this reel after use, but I don't know of many reels that would allow anyone to do that; certainly not at this price point. Whether the reel is dunked, sprayed, or splashed, rinsing off in freshwater will ensure years of flawless use. A great, reliable, durable reel from Shimano.
