Great Product, Questionable Shipping
Ordered around Xmas 2010. As I expected from Ugly Stick. Very good build quality and near perfect action. The only flaw with my whole experience lies in the shipping. It was extrememly timely, arrived about 5 days after ordering when Amazon had previosuly suggested it would take atleast 10 days. Upon opening the packaging (bubble wrap covered in colored plastic wrap) I saw that one of the guides was bent beyond repair. I emailed customer support and did not hear any news back since. Luckily, i have a local rod repair guy who was able to replace the guide with an exact replacement for $10 with parts, so everything is fine. $55 for the rod, $10 for repair, still just as cheap as everywhere else on the planet. The bottom line, good product, bad shipping.
