Great for casting large items
I use this to cast alabama rigs and 2oz slabs for stripers. Works great and loads well for a fairly fast blank. I like that though because it doesn't take a lot of energy to throw these heavy rigs a long ways.

this is one awesome rod!!!!....lightweight for it's strength and very sensitive!!...i use it to throw muskie size spinnerbaits and some swimbaits....so far, it has two 8 lb plus largemouths and a 16 lb Hybrid bass to it's credit....i can throw this rod all day long....i'm about to buy another one...
