Awesome rod, great feel and sensitivity
The spinning version of the worm & jig crucials is an awesome rod. You can use it for other applications as well. Shimano makes a drop shot specific rod in the crucial line but this one works great too if you get the med powered version. Light as a feather, and super sensitive, like a 17-year old girl when she's trying on her prom dress. It's so light with the carbon fiber shimano stradic reel that I almost threw it into the lake. It almost seems flimsy. But do not be fooled. This thing has the backbone to haul in a 7 lb fish with a little finesse. I've seen it. It happened last week!!! Who knows too, it was such a light bite I might not have even known I had a fish on if I was using some other rod. You can really feel the bottom with this thing and lots of distinction between snags and bites. You can feel the action from power worms and pretty much anything with a tail when you're retrieving. It's very nice. Highly recommended.
