We could hardly turn the motor on our Boston Whaler with the old cable.
This new cable has an adapter that connects the new cable to the old Teleflex steering box.
My sister and I had it in and skiing in 30 min. works great

Excellent Product, As advertised, it was a replacement for my defective steering cable ssc7217. It was very easy to install
13' Whaler Sport Steering Cable
Product fits Whale 13' Sport . The intuitions for proper measurement and installation were easy to follow. From removal of the old cable to installation of the new cable took about two hours. It is best to have two people to pull and run the cable. I do not think one person could do it.
