Gets the job done and some
I currently own 4 of the Xtra heavy model paired with Okumas CZ55 cortez reels spooled w/momoi 60#test mono.The rod is very strong and can handle whatever size bait you need.Ive landed many fish from shoreline
casting to cliff slide bait,float and kite with these poles here in Hawaii.They range from 10-100# ulua(Giant Trevally) to the occasional 10-15 Feet Tiger Sharks with no problem. I also own many other Ulua poles from Fenwicks,Sabres,Nitros,Shimanos and customs but these are my go to poles especially when kayaking or swimming the bait out.They are strong and beautifully made.I really love my gear and they work well for me,especially the cost.
