It Does what it says it will do
I installed this stablizer on my boat...I made a mistake and used a light weight nylon cleat in a fish on rod holder
I soon found out that the cleat was not strong enough for the pressures as a large boat driven my a guy with a little brain put a wake about 5' on my boat as it was tied off to the back of my houseboat... it almost instantly sheared of the cleat as the magma wing suspended 20' deep grabbed hold on the wave cycle...
I replaced the cleat with a stainless steel cleat and I must say it worked exactly as described... when I installed the wing boom base I did it in a location near a wall support and reinforced the wall with 2x6x2 piece of treat wood
this portion of the install was the part that concerned me most but the entire operation seems to be well built enough to handle the stress of even very big waves.
I bought this very expensive system becasue I like to fish in a part of the lake that is favored by hundreds of Wake boarders and...
