Never would have thought
Went to bass pro to get something completely different and walk passed shoe dept. I have a pair of salomons I hike with that are nice and lightweight but $$$ and obviously get soaked on wetter hikes. Mud season now and I tried on couple pairs. Merrels are awesome but my food is wider and I saw Simm's. somehow I have never heard. It says boat shoe but it looks more like a hiking shoe. Fully water proof and very easy to slide in. I was completely sold. They are very comfortable. I have worn in rain, deep snow, mud and at parties. I can't wait to see how they are for the river. No joke great shoe
Simms Harbor shoe
The Simms Harbor shoe is a good looking shoe. The Toe box is smaller than normal on this type of shoe and takes some adjusting to. I would advise taking time to break in the shoe before a long trek.
