Nikon Prostaff Target EFR 3-9x40 AO Matte Precision Reticle, Black

Great scope for the money, focuses to any distance, even 50 foot indoor ranges!
SUMMARY:
If you shoot at short ranges like me, you should buy this scope!
That's because this scope is variable focus, so the target is always in focus, even at 50-75 feet.
I bought this scope because of my experience with a different Nikon Prostaff scope (the 3-9 x 40 Prostaff BDC). The other Nikon scope was high quality and a good value, but it did not fit my needs. This one does! This scope is ideal for shooting at short ranges, because it can be focused as close as 10 yards (30 feet). That makes it great for indoor ranges, which are usually 50 to 75 feet (17 to 25 yards). It would also be great for small game hunting (e.g. squirrels or rabbits), which you generally shoot from a short distance (under 100 yards) with a .22 rimfire rifle, not from 300 yards away.

POSITIVES:

I have had virtually anything that can go wrong with a scope or scope mounting happen to me. With all of that said, so far I can still give this scope five stars.

Even though this isn't an expensive scope compared to my other optics, I had really high expectations for this from reading other reviews here and other places on the net. So far, all of those expectations have been met. I have this mounted on an RWS 34 with an adapter riser also sold on amazon. At thirty five yards, supported of course, I can hit a dandelion stalk. The optical clarity is very high for a scope of this price. Spring piston pellet rifles have a...
