SF 101
This unit was easy to mount, same holes as my 11 year old Rip tide. It has awesome power. Would have given it 5 stars except the tiller handle tilt seems to be a little tight. Almost feels like you are going to break it when you tilt it up or down. Hopefully it just needs to be broken in.
101 Riptide
This is my 4th Minnkota bow mount hand control. I do like the new gas assist,and so far it works very well. I have the same concerns with this motor as with past motors, The lift cord is prone to wearing out. The bolt that hold's the head to the shaft should be one size larger as it wears, and gets sloppy. I hope the speed control model is better, it seems to last about 3 yrs and needs to be replaced and it's an expensive fix,
