5 stars, but...
I give it 5 stars because of quality and design. Beware that the dimensions given are external dimensions. The rods have to be less that 34 1/2 inches long to fit. My 36 inch rod would not even fit on a diagonal. Other than that it seems to be a great bag for the money.
Lots of storage!!!
This gear bag is by far the best on the market. The price is excellent with lots of compartments, pockets and dividers. Very durable too!
Highly recomend for anyone in need of a gear bag.
Great bag for fly fishing stuff.
Finally, a bag that can carry all of my fly fishing stuff in one place! I have it stuffed with three four-piece rods up to 9 feet long, 7 reels/spools from 3wt to 8wt, several fly boxes, a chest pack, extra lines and backing, and a few other streamside items and it still has tons of room to spare.
As far as the construction goes, it's extremely sturdy; it feels more like a suitcase than anything. And, of course since it holds so much it was bigger than I was expecting.
The only downside was that initially the zippers were a little sticky and hard to open/close. They've since loosened up a little and are working fine.
