St.Croix TIS76LM Tidemaster Spinning Fishing Rod

Great rod!
I use St. Croix Tidemasters exclusively now. I am very impressed with these rods. This rod has a nice moderate action with good backbone. Great for light lures. Forget fast action rods. Get moderate action. You will love it.

Lowrance HDS-5m 5-Inch Waterproof Marine GPS and Chartplotter (With Nautic Insight Maps)

I love it
I use this just for a GPS on my boat. I love this product. I found it was easy to set up and install. However, I am a computer engineer. This is more accurate than was advertised and it is able to put me in the middle of the entrance river where my dock is. I would suggest that anyone use it but have a technician wire it for them into the boat. The network capabilities can be confusing if you are not familiar with basic electrical layouts.
gps review
This gps is awesome, its a straight gps no fishfinder. It is awesome at what it does. set waypoints with one push of the button as you ride. Gives you all the bells and whistles and very easy to use. It will tell you tides for exact areas, fishing locations, bait to use and fish in that area that have been reported. Also can be used as motor rpm , speedo, and other items with the screen selection and attachments. Its awesome.
Excellent product
This unit replaced my earlier b&w Lowrance GPS and could not have delivered a better upgrade. It is far easier to use and offers many more features. I won't bother to get into all of the details but I installed the unit myself as a stand-alone GPS. It is mounted inside the pilot house but doesn't need an exterior antenna. It works very well, with clear daytime readable graphics. It also provides all necessary trip details on a separate page.

Abu Garcia Revo Premier Low Profile Baitcast Reel, 12-Pound/145-Yard, Right-Hand

Abu Garcia Revo Premier - Compare and Contrast
Let me first explain that I only purchase and use fairly high quality reels. In fact, out of the past 5 baitcasting reels that I have purchased, this is the first reel that I have purchased other than a Shimano Chronarch. So, I hope that this will help you as I compare and contrast this reel against the Chronarch.

First, I really like the way this reel feels in my hand. I have used it on two different rods, one a 7'6 med-heavy and one a 7'2 med action rod. This reel has worked well on both. The Revo Premier casts very well. The distance is outstanding, however, I do believe that when you are not paying attention and trying to reach past that spot on the out edge of your casting range, this reel has a much higher tencancy to backlash than do the Chronarch reels. Casting distance is about the same give or take in comparison with the Chronarch. The Revo Premier handles and casts flourocarbon line slightly better whereas the Chronarch handles and casts mono slightly...
Abu Garcia Premier baitcaster
This is the new model reel at an awesome price. Saved over $100.00 here than going to Bass Pro Shops. Shipping was quick as well. This reel is the best.
Perfection
Still my favorite Premier! I have 6 of them and love them! Can't beat this price anywhere! All of my premiers are working flawlessly month after month.

Joy Fish Manhaden Cast Net: 5/8" Sq. Mesh, 12 ft Radius

Very nice net
Really good net. The weights are heavy and the line is long so you don't have to worry about throwing distance. I highly recommend it!
Good net for the money
As the title states it really is a good net for the money. Cast netting is risky as every throw is one throw closer to needing a new net... i.e. trees/rocks/snags etc that always seem to find cast nets. With that said this net opens well and sinks fast. I use this as my all purpose net on the river and do not worry about tearing it up or losing it. Gave 4 stars as I have much more expensive nets that only see deep lake waters for winter shad so I have thrown higher end nets to compare to these.
Update - Manufacturer Stands Behind Product
After 2 throws the brails started coming untied from the horn. I have been throwing cast nets for 30 years and this is a first. I tried contacting the company but got no response. This is either poor quality control or simply a very poor product. I will never get another net from this company (AKA Lee Fisher, Bait Buster, Mako Cast Nets).

Update - After my emails went unanswered I called them and they sent a new net right out. No problems with the new one.

Penn Torque Star 7+1 Bearings 6.0:1 15/280 Line Capacity Drag Reel

Great reel
The trq 40 is a great reel in every respect except for the price tag. For the life of me I can not figure what is in the new reels that make the companies sell for such high prices. 400.00 is high and some are going for over 1000.00. Gezz''' Anyway the trq and the fth series from Penn are smooth, cast great, have strong drags and gears, then they a built really well. If I could afford it I would like more of them to replace my old squidder 140's..

GTS Sport Sit-On-Top Kayak Seat

Comfortable Kayak Fishing
I've been paddling and fishing from Kayaks for the past 10 years or so and being comfortable has become a top priority for me. Most of my time is spent in the seated position, possibly for hours and hours on end. Of course the opportunity doesn't always afford itself where you can just paddle ashore and stretch your legs, so being comfortable is really, really important. Something else to consider is that all my fishing is done in a saltwater environment so accquiring a seat made from material and a manufacturing process that would tolerate the ravages of salt and sea was just as important. There are many other seats on the market but through experience I have found it doesn't take long for the material to start failing due to the salt and the seating area isn't so comfortable after a few hours on the water. This is where the GTS Sport Kayak Seat is definitely a cut above the rest. The seating area stays comfortable and the seat is made of the highest quality materials. The back...
Kayak seat for kayak paddling my new ISUP
I take it from the other reviews that many of these seats are inferior to this one. However, I find this one not as comfortable as I would like. I purchased the Advanced Elements, Hula, Inflatable Standup Paddleboard (ISUP). This ISUP has drings to attach a kayak seat to it. I have used my new GTS Sport seat 2 times now. I am 5'5", 115lb female. The seat does not inhibit my paddling. I would just like more cush on the seat. I don't regret my purchase as I'm not sure that there is a better product out there for me. I may try adding additional padding. It seems better when I sit with my legs crossed. It's not that bad.....just expecting more.
Best seat you will find............I looked!!
Great seat, Perfect fit. Excellent quality.
Used it in a Seda Revenge SOT. Tied it in to existing hardware. Added a tie back on the seat bottom to keep from sliding forward, as all seats do. (I like to lean back) Works great.
Me 5'6" 145lbs. Much larger than say 165# may be a little tight.
No complaints. Go for it!!! Punta Gorda, Fl.................kayak paradise.
Don't buy a cheap seat, your butt will appreciate it.

50 X 25 Fish Net, fishing Nets for Golf, Backstop, Hockey, Netting, Baseball, Sports, La crosse

Lacrosse Backstop -- Works Great!
Works great for a Lacrosse backstop! I used four large PVC poles (1"id x 10') and some para-cord to make a great backstop. Design tip: Be sure to lay out the net on the ground before hanging it; otherwise it can easily get pulled into a non-symmetrical shape. Trim down 1" wooden doweling to make a spikes for the base of the poles (Just to keep it from slipping. It doesn't need to be very deep). Trim down the dowel so that it is snug in the PVC, but not water tight (you'll want rain water, etc that gets into the pipe to drain down to the ground). Run a line of para-cord all the way across the top of the net (This is important!), and then use zip ties to fasten the poles to the net with one pole at each short end and the two others evenly spaced in the middle. With some help, set the poles in the ground and string adjustable guy wires (two on each end and then one each on the backside of the middle poles). The net can be tensioned across the top using the wire that was laced...

Sorel Men's Conquest Snow Boot,Bark,8 M US

AWESOME BOOTS!!
These boots (Sorel Conquest) are awesome! Yes, if you stand around for a hours, not moving your feet, they will get a little cold. But so far I have worn them to -38 degree weather for about 5 hours while I was hunting here in Alaska. My feet were on fire and sweaty by the time I get them off. And that's wearing boot socks, not thick winter socks. After 17 years in the military I thought I wouldn't EVER wear anything but Danner's on my feet, but I have to hand it to Sorel with these boots. So far they are awesome. I tell everyone that ask about them, if they like there feet to be warm and toasty when it's cold outside they should buy them. And trust me, here around Fairbanks we know what cold is! (-40 to -60)
Sorel Winter Boot
The looks and comfort of this boot have not disappointed and I suspect they will give me good service - However the manufacturers state the boot will keep your feet warm to -40deg. I have so far worn them in temperatures around +3deg and my feet were not particularly warm when standing in one place for any length of time. I fear that in temperatures much below this my feet will feel decidedly cold in these boots. I live in the UK where winters are not particularly harsh and hoped if I bought a boot I thought was designed for much harsher climates I could not go wrong, I have my doubts. I use my boots mostly to go fishing in so am stationary for long periods. If you are on the move quite a lot then that may make a considerable difference.

So in summary:-

Strong rugged *****

Waterproof *****

Comfort walking *****

Comfort warmth (The main reason I bought the boot) **
Not waterproof!!
This is my 3rd winter with these boots. In that time I've only worn them a total of about 30 days. The product page for this boot on the Sorel website uses the word waterproof no less than five times. These boots are NOT waterproof. After a ten minute walk through slushy snow yesterday my feet were wet. I'm not wearing the boots today because they're still wet inside. As another reviewer
noted, if I wanted to wear leaky chinese-made boots I could have paid a lot less.

Celestron 52303 Regal Refractor 100mm F-ED Spotting Scope

Excellent Buy for an ED Scope
So far I have been very impressed with this spotting scope. I spent 2 months reading various blogs and going o stores and looking through scopes from a $200 Burris to a $1300 Kowa, and Nikons. In the end I knew it would be worth spending the extra for a real ED optic (using real fluorite glass), but I wanted to keep the price down. This scope is very clear and has an very large objective lens to gather light which aids in seeing detail. They also make the same scope in an 80mm and 65mm for hikers and birders. I bought the 100mm scope for target shooting and wanted every bit of help finding tiny holes on paper, but have not gone to the range yet. I have used it in Yosemite to view the mountain tops and the moon though. I could see birds sitting on trees on top of Yosemite and the moon appears almost 3 dimensional. The moon is so bright through the scope that you almost squint and this is only half full. Most zoom eye pieces are optically good for the first 70% of their range with...
Great scope with marginal slip case - SLIP CASE UPGRADED
[...] - Celestron has revised their slip case for this scope and the new version now fits correctly. They courteously shipped a free replacement to me. Good customer service. I have upgraded my rating to five stars.
[...]
Have used Celestron C-5 mirror-scope for ten years (we are birders). Have had Kowa TSN-883 Prominar ED 88mm for a year (wife's toy) and it is a great scope. The C-5 is great for lots of light gathering but falls short in depth of field, flops the image right to left, and, lacking mass, tends to shake even with a sand-filled drape over it on a massive tripod. I elected to replace the C-5 so checked a number of scopes and chose this one. The other reviewer covered lots of ground which I won't repeat (yes, it's big, etc.). I find the light gathering to be slightly better than the Kowa (100mm vs 88mm, so it should) but slightly less than the C-5 (100mm vs 127mm). However, the extra mass of this scope on the same tripod greatly reduces shake and, with the...
Outstanding Scope at a Low Price
This is a big scope, but it offers bright, crisp images that smaller scopes can't deliver. They just don't have the light-gathering capability of a large scope. The ED fluorite glass really presents sparkling images. I am a range officer at a large, active shooting range. In this position I have the opportunity to sample a huge variety of spotting scopes that the range members use. Regardless of price, I haven't sampled any scope that equals the image quality of this large Celestron spotting scope. The images of distant targets are presented so clearly that it's like standing next to the target. Buy smart and buy once!

Sea Eagle SE9 Motormount Inflatable Fishing Boat Fishermans Dream Package

A REAL FINE WATERCRAFT!!!!!
I bought a Sea Eagle SE-9 25 years ago, with floor boards, motor mount, oars, no seats, and a bellows foot pump. I used it for 10 years before a relative made the horrid mistake of throwing it out when he cleaned his garage; I had left it in an uninflated heap in the garage for a couple of months, and that's what I got for it! Now I'm considering buying another of the same, or a 370 Kayake.

This SE-9 is super well built, very high quality, extremely stable, confidence inspiring, huge in it's inner floor area, and its weight capacity of 1,200 lbs. Very simple and easy to inflate in 20 minutes with a foot bellows; easier and much quicker to deflate and roll up and put back into its tote bag; I never even dried it off and had no problems as a result.

I used it in a huge resevoir miles across, with allot of narrow offshoot lobes where the fish were. Also for trolling out in the middle of the water. We used to just drop anchor and let it drift and we'd eat, drink and...

Lefty Kreh Professional Fly Rod 9 foot 8 wt 4 pc Temple Fork

4 pc travel rod - 8 wt
This is the second Temple Fork/Lefty Kreh rod I've bought. My first one is a 6 wt and this one is 8 wt. Both have good, medium action with most of the flex in the tip. I'm not a "whippy" rod person and these rods fit my needs exactly. I have some more expensive rods, but these are perfectly suitable for most fishing and they take down in 4 pieces that will fit many duffles or suitcases. If not, there are hard tubes that will fit airplane overhead bins. I recommend Temple Fork rods without hesitation.
I know it's cliche but - BANG for the buck
This was purchased for a mid price rod for me, and it has now become my favorite rod!

With a Lamson Konic 3.5 it is perfectly balanced.

Nice feel, nice cork (VERY little filler), really nice seat and above average guides and wrapping for this price range.

I'm already looking for my next TFO rod.

Avenir Cargo Bicycle Trailer

Excellent trailer
I purchased this trailer, although not from Amazon. I have used to tow perhaps up to 40 pounds of various things including paper, cardboard, and bottles to my local recycling station, and groceries. It is light, and tows very well. Our area is fairly flat so I cannot speak to many significant hills. On the flat, however, it may make me start one gear lower when loaded than I would otherwise, but I cruise at basically my usual speed whether or not loaded. My trips are roughly 6 miles round trip. I like the fact that the hitch design is a simple clamp which means that I can use it on more than one bike without buying additional hitch hardware. The cloth sides are protected from contact and wear from the wheels by the bars around them. The top fits well. I do not use the flag, but I have attached a tailight. I should add that I ride for pleasure and errand running, but at age 68, am far from an athlete. There are two items about which one should be aware: First, if you ride a...
Poor customer service, broken axle.
I purchased a Avenir Cargo Bicycle Trailer after looking a quite a few trailers last summer. I use it daily and was traveling with it when one of the the axles and berings failed. I have spent half a day trying to get help from Raeligh/ Avenir and all I get is sent to voice mail and no help. I am very disappointed with Avenirs lack of customer service. I paid $250 for this trailer and it failed after six months! The most I have carried in it is 45 lbs. The poor design of the axle they use is evident by the poor quality of metal and grooves they cut in the axel. You would think they would use quality steel in such an important part! I will never buy another Avenir product after this horrible experience.
Super Great Trailer !
I ordered this bicycle trailer from Amazon on December 1 and for 3.99 shipping (Amazon Prime) I received it the next morning !!! It took me about 6 minutes to assemble and mount to my bike. The trailer is anodized aluminum, not steel. The description says 30lbs shipping weight. Yeah, maybe with a 15 lb. box! This baby is lite....After connecting it to my mountain bike I picked it up with one finger!. I haven't weighed it yet, but it cant be 16 pounds or so. NICE.
For 184.99 plus free shipping you can't beat it, or 3.99 overnight with Amazon Prime. I love Amazon......

BARSKA 4-16x50 Benchmark Targeting Riflescopes 30mm (Black Matte)

Well built but power ring hard to turn.
This is a big scope at 14.5 inches long. When you first take it out of the package you will notice that it is much heavier that similar sized scopes that cost less. This is good. The windage and elevation knobs are sealed with o-rings and the parallax focus knob is not sloppy. You will not bump it out of adjustment. My only complaint so far is the power adjustment ring is hard to turn. Very hard to turn. So much so that I called barska because I didn't want to break my new scope. They were absolutely no help at all. They immediately gave the warranty schpeel to which I said I just want to talk with a technician to see if this is correct. I was transferred and immediately hung up on. The power ring eventually gave way and is getting easier to turn the more I work with it. I am using it on a custom Saiga .308 as a designated marksman rifle. When I sight it in and have some range time behind the scope I will update this review. I have high expectations.

Teleflex SSC15414 TFXtreme 14' Marine Rack Cable

Good product, hard to install on certain boats.
Good Product. I feel like this steerring cable will last a lot longer than the last because of the extra protection. I got 9 years out of the last cable before my steering go to the point that I needed to use both arms to turn. Now it turns like a new boat. On my 2001 Tige 21v, it took me and a friend about 4 hours to install.
Replacement steering cable
The steering cable on my '07 Moomba Mobius LSV seized up. Instead of having the dealer replace it for about $800 (parts and labor) I did it myself with this cable and some instructions from the web. It's hard disconnecting/reconnecting the cable beneath the engine, but totally worth it when I can steer my boat with one finger again. I don't remember it steering this smooth when it was new!
wow
I don't know what happened here with my order im very displeased with amazon and Teleflex the cable was the correct length . but the metal case is to wide it wont fit down in to my steering.. and the bolt holes are an 8th inch off I cant seem to find out how to talk to any one and not a fan of amazon now

5/8 X 200 Nylon Anchor Line with Heavy Duty Galvanized Thimble

Good line for a good price
I purchased this nylon line to make some new dock lines. I found it easy to splice and all appearances are it will perform well. There were more hockled yarns than I expected but I don't think these will affect overall functionality. This is the second time I've purchased a length of anchor line, cut it to appropriate lengths, and made eye splices. It's less expensive than pre-cut/spliced dock lines, provides good shock-absorption, and wears well.
A Great Value
Exactly what I was looking for for the price I was willing to pay. Awesome experience.

This is the deal of the year. My new Riptide works great. Probably the best on-line purchase I have ever made. Plenty of get up and go for my 15ft boat. You can troll as slow or as fast as you want at any and every speed in between.

Bresser Rifle Scope Konig Rifle Scope (6-18x, 40 mm)

Best bang for buck
I have owned this scope for 1 year and currently have it mounted on a Sig 522. It has performed flawlessly. I am impressed enough with it I have investigated some of their other product lines so as to try them also.

Costa Del Mar Caballito Polarized Sunglasses - Costa 580 Polycarbonate Lens Tortoise/Gray, One Size

Fashion & Function
Polarized and stylish sunglasses. I have a smaller face and they fit great. The tortise shell brown is a very nice look too. Lightweight and they came in a nice case for protection.
Great glasses. Cant go wrong with Costa Del Mar
My eyes are abnormally sensitive to glare (Dr. says Cataracts for me in the future, WooHoo!) so I need Polarized lens'. I did a lot of research and went through a lot of different brands and have found Costa Del Mar by far the best for my "special" circumstance. This is my 4th pair in the past 12 years.

One thing, though, the seller - Coolstuff4less - has on the posting that the Driftwood frame is still available. In fact , thelast I checked it stil says so. When I ordered the Driftwood Frame with the Grey 580 Lens, the seller contacted me almost immediately to notify me that the Driftwood frame is discontinued on this model.
Bummer, but kudos for being on top of it.
I offered to take the Tortoise Shell frame instead even though it was not my first choice. But ok. no big deal I guess. (Sure do like the look of those Driftwood frames though.)

So, being anxious to get my new glasses because I was doing so much squinting, I closely watched the...
Costa
Great as usual. The polarization is amazing. Bought for a teenager and he loves them. It is a great color combo

Tica UEHA630502C Surf Casting Fishing Rod (Heavy, 10-Feet, 2-Piece, 12-30 Pound)

I don't know????
Bought this rod about a year ago , it was the 8'0 surf rod. I got it for the striper run here in NJ. During the fall run I fish almost everyday and this was my go to rod, throwing ava 007's, crocs,A17's and some needlefish poppers.Caught many fish with this rod up to 24lbs no problem. Took it out the other day to cast to some bluefish here in the surf using a 1oz croc amd bucktail teaser above and about an hour and half into the day the rod broke in half, The rod I was using was the one piece model. I sent an email off to Tica customer service but no answer yet. So I'll say it was a good rod while it was in one piece, but don't know if I'll buy another. Think i'll suck it up and buy a St. Croix.
New Tica Dolphin conventional surf rod does not disappoint.
I received my new Tica 12' heavy conventional surf rod from Amazon because
they offered the best price and free shipping. My first impression of the rod
was the rich blue color of the blank. The wraps were clean and well designed with no visible blemishes or misalignment. The cork tape grip was evenly wrapped and also felt good in my hands. I bought this rod primarily for Stripers coming up the East coast this past May and had several days to test it out. With a Penn Squall 15 mounted, the outfit felt nicely balanced and was not heavy by any means. The rod performed extremely well and heaved 8'n bait with no problems. Keep in mind the rod does not break down evenly and the butt of the rod does not have any guides either.I think this design may give more power in the butt end and takes the strain off the upper rod section when landing a #20+ fish on the beach.
i didnt get the right rod
Well I got my first one and it was great love the nine foot one.
But I order the second and I didn't get what I order.

Swish Suits Women's 3mm Full Body Wetsuit (Black, 6)

It's okay. I can't wait to see what Swish Suits will do next!
Pros:
Bioprene rather than neoprene. Read about it if you don't know. I LOVE the fabric.
The cut and the seams are extremely flattering.
The suit is easy to get on and off.

Cons:
The seams aren't welded. And the velcro from the belt catches easily on the stitching for the seams. Be careful.

The zipper barely has any bioprene between it and my back. I get cold much more quickly in this suit.

The zipper flap doesn't have any velcro so it just hangs wide open.

No reinforcement or padding at the knee.

I don't like the zippers at the wrists and ankles. They are uncomfortable and scratch things and are just another place where the water gets in more easily. Flush! Brrr!

The belt is absolutely ridiculous. There are two huge belt loops in front that look silly if the belt isn't in them. No belt loops in back either so the belt rides funny if you do decide to wear it. I think the reason the belt bugs me so...
Attractive suit stays that way!
I have been using the 3mm Swish full suit for 2 years now and my suit still looks like new. The neoprene is warmer than other suits so places where I would normally wear a 5mm, I can wear this 3mm. I like my suit a lot!
This suit is amazing!
I just bought this suit and used it for the first time and I must say it doesn't compare to anything else I've ever worn! It's comfy, stylish, warm and can be used for multiple different activities! I love it.

Badlands 4500 Backpack (Medium, AP)

A beast of a backpack, but also weighs like a beast
great quality material, many pockets and storage space. Very heavy, would only recommend if you are in shape. The medium is also a little big for a a 5'9 guy.
Wife's pack
Wife used this pack on our 10 mile excursion into the San Juan Wilderness area. Seems to work just o.k. The only real complaint is the non-standard hydration bladder compartment. I purchased two camelback bladders. My pack has two vertical compartments in main section. This pack uses a "square" bladder in the fanny pack section. We just zipped her bladder in the vertical outside pocket. Worked pretty good that way. Being able to access the bottom of the pack without unloading everything is a nice feature. It is just o.k. because of the price, and non-standard hydration compartment. Also, unrolling 4 feet(exageration) of material to load top is a pain.
Such high hopes, but not a load hauler.
I bought this pack hoping perhaps a bit optimistically to carry out a load of meat come the hunting season. A trial backpack trip into the Eagle Cap mountains showed it's short comings. I had about a 60lb+ load for some comfortable camping over 4 days. Eleven miles in, all uphill. The hip belt is way too stiff and does not 'cant' to your hips. This ends up as a stiff ring, and with a heavy load it just eventually slides down, putting most weight back onto your shoulder straps. Very uncomfortable for a pack build to carry a heavy load.

Also the water bladder location is a little odd. Thought it might be just fine, but didn't like the added weight that far from your center of gravity, and really bounced when moving quickly.

In the end I'll be selling this pack and trying out another brand. Hopefully testing more thoroughly before putting down the cash for these monsters now a days.

Nikon 6892 Spotter XL II 16¿48 X 60mm Spotting Scope Outfit

Outstanding spotting Scope
Outstanding in every respect. Highlights include clear optics and a solid tripod in a compact package. This scope is all most shooters will ever need at the range or in the field.
great scope, not so good tripod
I received this scope some time ago now and have had time to use it in some different situations, in the local national park spotting some wildlife from a distance, from the car just snooping and spying around and from the balcony in a hotel that I work in doing much of the same. In all these situations and more I have found the scope to be clear and easy to adjust, although the focusing dials are firm to turn and I have to be gentle so as not to loose the object I'm trying to spot.

This scope seems to be a good well made product from Nikon, it has a rubberized and well sealed coating (I haven't used it in the rain yet), the caps for both ends are firm and secure and the unit is solid with no loose or slack moving parts, however I cannot claim to be an expert in the use and quality of many different brands or varieties of scopes. I did however look around for some time for a seemingly good quality at a good price.

The cons of the deal are the accessories that...

Danner Men's Pronghorn GTX 8" 1200 Gram Boot,Realtree APG HD,11 D US

Comfortable cold weather boot, a bit expensive
These boots are very comfortable right out of the box. The pair I received runs true to size. Overall I am satisfied with these boots.

Things I like about the Danner 1200g Pronghorn boots:
-comfortable enough to wear in the woods all day
-lightweight (considering the amount of insulation)
-warm
-well-designed sole to maintain grip on all types of terrain
-scuff-proof heel and toe seem to live up to the name

Things I dislike about these boots:
-fairly expensive for a boot that is made in China and not able to be resoled
-one of the boots I received arrived with some excess glue on the leather. This isn't something I expect from a boot in this price range.
Awsome!!
These are worth every penny. I have the little brother to these as well. (800 grams) They are cofortable right out of the box and keep my feet toasty

Temple Fork Outfitters Lefty Kreh Signature 7.5 foot 3 weight 2 Piece Fly Rod

Works great!
Exactly what it said it was going to be and works great! Will definitely buy more of temple fork rods.
great rod - poor packaging
Got the new TFO fly rod today and the package was in such poor condition the UPS driver asked me to open it and inspect the contents for damage. The triangle shipping carton had been broken on two sides, but somehow the rod escaped damage (to my relief). The UPS driver even commented he didn't understand why they would ship a fly rod in such a flimsy package.

I only gave 4 stars because of the packaging!

The rod itself is a great rod at a bargain price, and the seller did ship quickly. I just wish they would have used a heavy walled round tube instead of a flimsy lightweight triangular box. No problem with the rod or the seller's service, just a miracle the rod arrived unbroken in that packaging!

MAKO Ice Auger - 43cc Engine, 8in. Dia.

Excellent auger
I am very pleased with this auger. No problems staring in cold weather. Sometimes it takes me a few pulls to get it started. Cut through 16 inches of ice without a problem. I like the slow steady movement of the blades. Do not have to fight the machine to keep it upright and working. I am very pleased with this auger and am glad I bought it. For the price, there is nothing better.
Wives! Great Christmas Gift!
I bought this for my husband for Christmas...I read the reviews and frankly was a little worried because I know diddly about augers and motors and the like...until I read from the guy who wrote in his review something to the effect that there is absolutely nothing wrong with this model, it runs great, IF one knows how to operate this type of motor! And it DOES work great! You can't beat the price, it's a good little workhorse, in fact this is the first time my husband's ever complained about the fishing being TOO GOOD because he only used the auger to drill five holes, and was disappointed because he couldn't drill about 20 more! He had absolutely no trouble with starting it, or with operation, he says it ran great! Shipping was great, I ordered it way to close to Christmas but the webpage said if ordered that day would arrive by Christmas and it did! Very quick! AND free shipping from this seller? Woooow! Thanks soooo much for helping me pull off a Christmas my hubby'll never forget...

I let my husband buy an Eskimo Quantum 43cc Power Ice Fishing Auger. He says that it cuts 24" of ice like butter. However, it didn't help him catch fish. It's a great machine!
