Already Broken After 40 Rounds
Excellent Nikon Scope for the Money!
I have only used this for 100 yard shots to date. However, the sighting in is super easy. The windage and elevation dials are click adjusted by hand / fingers. Really easy! Then once you are zeroed at 100 yards, you lift the dial caps and set to 100 yards elevation and Zero windage. Then, for adding yardage, you keep the dial (pushed in) and turn the elevation dial to the desired distance. I cannot vouch for the effectiveness yet, as I have not shot further than 100 yards, due to my shooting range limitations. However, remembe you must be shooting ammo (55 grain) with ratings of precisley 3240 FPS for the scope to be accurate. (Hornady 55 grain V max is a good match!)
Feels like a solid scope. Dials feel sturdy with click adjustment. I paired mine with the Nikon 223 scope mount and it functions great and looks super.
Nicest scope I have had.
Nicest scope I have ever had, optics seem very good and I like the 4" eye clearance. I have not been to the range to sight it in yet so will know more later.
