Columbia Men's PFG Bonehead Short Sleeve Shirt - Fairytale XL

One of my absolute Favorites - Would give 10 Stars if I could
I have been buying these shirts for years. They are great for fishing or any outdoor wear. The back is vented and there are plenty of pockets for keeping things like cell phones or keys secure, especially in a boating environment. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.
Could be great, if only they sized it properly
Columbia has yet to let me down in the quality of their clothes, durability and materials used. This shirt, is no exception. The only problem with this shirt, and it's a big one, is that the size is waaayyyy off. I would venture to say 2 sizes off. I ordered a large, as I am a large in every other brand including other Columbia product lines, but this shirt was so big I could fully loaded ruck sack underneath it!!

Seriously, it is at least one size larger than labeled but I would venture to say it might even be 2 sizes too large. I'm going to give it to my dad who typically wears a XXL and see if it fits him. Bottom line, do not order this shirt online unless you have confirmed your size in a store first.
Great product, although not the right size
I bought 3 of them. Great quality as we're used to when buying any Columbia stuff. But however, bigger than they seem to be. (S is like M, and so on)

MinnKota Powerdrive 55 V2 Bow-Mount Trolling Motor with Foot Control, Autopilot and Universal Sonar 2 (55-lb Thrust, 54" Shaft)

Excellent trolling motor for the price
I bought this motor last fall 2011. It was very easy to bow mount and use, especially when using the remote control from the back of the boat. I had always had a trolling motor on the transom, and spent more time fooling with steering manually than I did fishing. NOT ANYMORE!!!

Costa Del Mar BR11 Black Brine Wrap Sunglasses Polarised Fishing, Lens Mirrored

Greatest pair of sunglasses I have ever owned
These glasses are great. They look good, the feel good, and perform well. I wear them just about everyday. I have never had an issue with them and they are very durable. They come in a very cool looking Costa hard case with a cleaning cloth. As with anypair of sunglasses, the lenses do collect quite a bit of dirt and grime. I am a little less delicate with mine now that they are getting older, so I normally use the sleeve of the closest t-shirt to clean them and they stay scratch free. They do turn your surroundings a little reddish in color and gives me a kind of dawnish color in the sky a lot of the time, but you will get used to it. Another great thing about these glasses, the frames are covered by manufacturor warranty. I can't tell you how much of a life save that is.

Great Glasses. I would buy them again in a heartbeat.
Best polarized glasses ever.
I've had 'em all, Ray Bans, Sea Striker, and more. These glasses are by far the best I've ever bought.
Costas
Awesome glasses the lenses on them look beautiful on the water, glad I went with these. God bless the USA

Wise Ski Boat Lounge (Grey/Charcoal)

DONT BUY THESE KEEP LOOKING!!!!!!!!!
i thought these seats would be good because of the plastic frame, but they're not the base is wabbley the hinges are binding and the worst part. the driver seat riped the second time i used it. i would not recomend these seat at all.....
i was very disapointed
Great seating for the price
Cost less than boating retailers and shipping was quick, one seat was delivered with a small rip but it was in a unnoticable spot so I won't be returning it.
Good boat seat
I bought this used and it was missing some bolts which I received by calling the manufacturer. It was easy to install and to make the base more secure, I bolted a flat wood plank to the bottom of the seat base which I laminated beforehand. It was a little too tall for my 14 foot fiberglass boat, but it did the job. The whole base was hard plastic, but there was room underneath to store your stuff and I like the lounge seat capability.

MinnKota Vantage 80 Transom Mount Trolling Motor (80lbs Thrust)

Super
I purchased this motor when it first came out several years ago & as usual when your first in line you become the proving ground. I had a lot of problems that were caused by Minn Kota issues that they have resolved. This is the only way to go if you are running a tiller outboard. I am a walleye fisherman & this motor is sweet.

Strike Master Ice Augers Big Volt Electric Auger, 10 1/4-Inch

Big Volt
The auger is quite amazing. I used it most of the winter in my fish house and found it very efficiant at drilling and redrilling the holes. My gas Jiffy stays home and the older electric strikemaster stayed it its box as a backup unit. The big volt is much faster and still doesn't "pump" a lot of water althoughit turns faster than the older model. It is my choice now for drilling holes through 24 inches of ice.

Wise Runabout Base Back to Back Lounge Seat, White, 8-Inch

Wise boat seats
Ordered these for replacement on a Glastron. The seats are well built and arrived in less than a week. There were a few braces missing, but a call to the company, and they were sent out quickly. My only complaint is the color. I ordered the medium brown as pictured, but the seats are dark brown. I kept them anyway and the installation was easy. Overall, a good product, with excellent customer service.

MinnKota Riptide 70 SP Bowmount Trolling Motor with CoPilot (70-lb Thrust, 54" Shaft)

AWESOME!!!!
Bought this to replace a 55# thrust 12v freshwater trolling motor on my bass tracker. I use this digital motor at about 1/2 power and last 3x longer than the previous motorguide. ... and it pulls my 18' 6" tracker boat with ease and is extremely quiet.
Not Wired With Right Connector On Negative Side
The 6 AWG positive and negative wires on my Minn Kota Riptide SP 70 trolling motor came with connectors with 1/8 inch holes. That's okay for the positive wire which Minn Kota recommends putting a 50 amp manual circuit inline with the positive connection to the battery. You will need a 5/16 to 3/8 inch connector and a 1/8 in. connector and a second 4-6 AWG cable,to go over the 1/4 in. terminal on the marine battery, and the side going back to the circuit breaker with this second cable will need a 1/8 in. connector. So you need two different size connectors and a second cable to connect your motor from the circuit breaker to the positive terminal of your marine battery, and an additional 3/8 in. connector to go on the negative wire on the motor. It would be a lot easier if the Riptide came with the right size connectors and a second positive cable with the right size connectors to connect from the circuit breaker and the 1/4 in.top post on the marine battery. Since the motor did not...

Future Beach Sit-In Kayak

Love it
This is season two for me and my kayaks. I bought mine on clearance at Dick's and brought an experienced kayaker with me who can guide me and speak to the salesman. This boat has ridges in the bottom which you need for effective tracking. It has plenty of room for carrying a beach bag and small cooler. I actually dropped in the bay and paddled over to my favorite beach. It works very well in an ocean inlet or marina area and very good on lakes. I don't know how it would be on white water and probably won't find out either. It's a durable and light weight boat that easily fits your every day needs. Although I have the J hooks to carry them, but also can slide them into my Grand Cherokee and strap it in quickly and easily. I'm a little female and sliding it/them into the truck is much easier for me. I like it and I highly recommend it. If you prefer open ocean kayaking, I suggest you get a sea kayak with a rudder. This one is great for light to medium waves and currents...
Stable and maneuverable
This is my first kayak. I have tried it in my swimming pool and in a calm lake down the road. I love it, love it, love it! I was concerned about being able to maneuver it and balance without flipping it. This kayak is wide and flat and floats down in the water in a way that you feel like you can turn, stop and go without any danger. Great beginners boat.

It is quite a bit lighter and thinner than the Old Town brand my wife bought, but still sturdy enough. One disappointment is that the bulk head is not completely sealed, so is not really a dry storage space or an air pocket to keep it afloat should it flip.

It is easy to load in the car rack and it has a drain plug right at the tail end, making it super easy to drain and store after use.
No warranty support
Have emailed several times about broken plastic pieces. Future Beach will not respond. Will not deal with them again. Most of the clips were discovered to be broken after receiving the kayak.

Waterfowl Wading Systems Max-4 Heavy Duty Breathable Bootfoot Wader (9 Stout)

Nice waders
My waders ripped beyond repair and I picked these up right at the end of the season. A friend had a pair and really liked them. I much prefer them to neoprene. With a pair of fleece wader pants on they are equally warm with much improved comfort and mobility.

My only complaint is the elastic in the shoulder straps. I am sure over time this will deteriorate. A solid web belt would have been better. Otherwise they are exellent. Only time will tell how they hold up. They certainly seem well made.

Pelican Strike 100X Angler Kayak, Sand

If the price is right, it's a good buy.
Just purchased this kayak from a sport equipment 'wholesale'/retail store for $350. It paddles easily, tracks well for it's size, and is quite stable. The seat is poor. I weigh 250# and according to the label on the kayak, it is rated for 325#. I am 6'tall and the foot braces adjust easily for my height. I probably won't fish from it but look forward to a lot of fun.

Innova Twist Inflatable Kayak

Innova Twist
We purchased the Innova Twist for my wife, while I fish in a Belly Boat. She likes the Twist a lot. Perhaps the only negative, and it's very minor, is that she sits low and her hands rub the sides of the kayak when she uses the paddle. She has gloves now and has no issues (and we have since put in a inflatable seat to raise her up too). The kayak sets up quickly, as everyone mentions, we use a hand pump, about 10 min max. The material seems sturdy and it's 16lb, so not a bad weight. Hey, she'd like 8lb or less, but at 16lb it's doable in a hiking backpack. I have also tried this kayak and it works well for me, I'm 6'1" and 240lb, and I had no issues. The yellow color gets dirty easily and I have tried to clean with no success, but this is also very minor. We pack a lot into the kayak and it works well. I am considering getting the Solar for me!

It's more expensive than others, but weight was my key concern. I would recommend this model.

So, why a 4 rating - you...

Russell Outdoors Men's Explorer Bib Overall, Mossy Oak Infinity, XX-Large

Just what the buck ordered.
I have to say, the service was great. I received them ahead of schedule, and in great working order and no defects. Now for the real review. I have used these every time I've hunted, since the start of archery season, in North Arkansas. Which is thick with heavy brush and wooded hills. They allow for great movement, they are light weight, and yet to let me down. The legs are alittle long for myself. But they do come with ties sewn into the cuff of the legs. So, you can tie them around your boots. Or, tuck them in. Your choice. They have plenty of pockets, for your gear. And, two are cargo pockets. For the price, I recommend purchasing them. Other popular chain store have similar products. But they are heavier and bulkier than these. Those are not necessary for milder climates. Well, that is it. Happy hunting.
early Christmas gift
My husband is 6'4" and it is very hard to find anything long enough. They worked out great. Happy hunting to my hubby.

MinnKota Powerdrive 55 V2 BowMount Trolling Motor with Foot Control and Autopilot (55lbs Thrust, 54" Shaft)

Powerdrive V2 with Autopilot is the perfect combination for trolling
I got this motor under recommendation from a family member who is a professional fisherman. I also added a not included copilot, which uses a hand transmitter rather than the wired foot pedal that comes with it.This combination really works well, much better than I expected, as it doesn't hunt a lot to keep on course you set. People I have taken out on my boat have commented what a joy it is to fish with and have been impressed with the overall ease of operation and lack of clutter on the deck. If you are looking to troll for your fish look no further than a Powerdrive V2 with an autopilot and also add on a copilot- you will be happy.
A great electric trolling motor
This motor does everything MinnKota claims it will do. Easy to install, much improved over my last MinnKota Auto Pilot, better controls, more efficient, an excellent all around trolling motor. I use it for everything from bass fishing to Salmon/Steelhead fishing here on the Snake River.
Plenty of Power, Double the Battery Life! Excellent Product!
Used this with a single large marine battery in my 2005 Tahoe Q4 19'. Worked extremly well, plenty of power to pull the boat at a good clip. With my old tiller handle motor I had to carry 2 batteries to fish for an 8 hour period out on the lake. With the this motor I now only carry one large marine battery and can troll 10 hours straight and still have power left over! The remote control feature on your wrist is a must have if your fishing solo. This motor is as good as it gets. Ran it for 3 years 2-3 times a week out on the lake year round in all weather and it never missed a beat. Great product.

Simms Male G3 Guide Vest X-Large Khaki

Whether you are going to pluck panfish from a secret hole like a welfare recipient snatching cheese from a government cubard, or you are ready to assault the trout populace on the Firehole, this is your vest. You can buy the imitation grape drink but this is the real cool-aide. An outstanding weight distribution yoke to ruck in all your gear coupled with enough pockets to satisfy even the most rugged infantryman of the Rhodesian Army, this vest can do it all. Made from a quick dry fabric for those solarly oppressive days on the gibbon to facilitate evaporative cooling and built in retractors for even the most technical of trout hooligans; I recommend you buy once and cry once with the Simms G3 guide vest.

Costa Del Mar SEVEN MILE (Gold, Blue Mirror 580 )

Great Sunglasses
I live in Hawaii and a good pair of sunglasses is a necessity not a nice to have. I had a pair of Costas several years ago but I couldn't find any that I liked in the Islands. Several of my friends tried to get me to switch to the Maui Jim's but they just don't offer the clarity the Costas have. I got the 580 glass with the blue mirror finish and I couldn't be happier with the glasses. The glasses are crystal clear and they do a really good job even on very bright days. They are a little heavy but I was expecting that with the glass lenses. They frames fit snug and they don't slip down even when I am hiking.
Very nice sunglasses!
I bought these sunglasses as a gift for my husband who is a huge fan of the Costa sunglasses. This is his 3rd pair. He chose the glasses himself and wanted the metal frames in the silvertone with brown lenses. The images when looking through the glasses is OUTSTANDING! There's just no comparison when viewing life through these sunglasses on a sunny day...or even overcast! The shipping took longer than expected, and came ON his actual birthday, when it should have arrived 2 days prior since I paid for EXPEDITED SHIPPING, so I was sweating bullets hoping they would arrive in time. I'm not sure if this was due to MY postal office error since I live in a small town. This should not reflect on the sunglass purchase though. The purchase price was far below anything we've found in retail stores, and although we are military and could have bought these glasses through the Exchange online program with no taxes or shipping fee and $20 cheaper, they just didn't offer the color he wanted. Minn Kota + Amazon = Total Satisfaction!!!
Not only is the MinnKota 80lb bow mount trolling motor everything I expected and more, but Amazon's handling of it was excellent. The MinnKota goes all day on my batteries (which with my old MotorGuide they did not). 30 to 40mph winds are now no problem staying on point even with my 21' bass boat. Wise Open Back Bucket Seat with Bolster (White)

Nice seats, good quailty and very comfortable
I did a lot of research before ordering these seats and am very happy with the quality and comfort. I have a 60 foot catamaran and the passage between the wheel and seat entering the cockpit is narrow so the fold up bolster was important. The seats look great but one of the pedestals arrived with shipping wear "scratches" and I need to contact the shipper to see what they will do about that.

Sightron 3-9x40mm Satin Black SI Riflescopes

nice scope
Found this scope based on some reviews from ChuckHawks.com - you can find some good recommendations there for scopes ranging from cheap to untouchable.

Mounted on a rimfire range/target rifle.
Scope is handsome, solidly built, and as precise as I need for 50ft-100yds rimfire.
Image is clear and the correct eye-relief is easy to find.
Repeatable adjustments through the short click range I tried; but I didn't do the box test through full range of the scope clicks since it's a pain to do w/ no parallax adjustment and focusing down to 50ft range takes a lot of adjusting (the threads are very fine)
I just zeroed it and left it. It's not the kind of scope that you'd want to be be fiddling with all the time.
Been pretty solid and the zero hasn't budged; but I haven't stressed it beyond the recoil of .22 lr.

Flip up lens covers is a plus.
Covers can be rotated (I like them to flip down out of the way).

Things this scope is...
You Get What You Pay For?
Have a friend who purchased a Sightron scope for his 30/30. He kept on bragging about how great it was etc and then to prove the point killed two nice muleys the last couple years. Before buying I read the reviews of others and found them to be informative and hopeful. Had it boresighted which guarenteed me to " hit the paint " at 25 yards and indeed it did. I can already see some guys seething but look at the pen name. The range master gave me some pointers and I soon had it zeroed in but just wasn't quite satisfied and strongarmed my hunting partner to get into the woods. We set up three targets one at fifty yards, another at 100 yards, and the last a little further back. Somehow I was chosen to shoot first, look at the pen name, found myself a rest and squeezed one off at 50 yards. You cannot imagine my suprise to find a bullet hole in a half dollar sized bullseye. The next shot was at 100 yards. Once again on the rest and SHAZAM a bullet hole 1 inch above the bull! This...

MinnKota Terrova 80 Bowmount Trolling Motor with Foot Control (80-lb Thrust, 60"Shaft)

Minn Kota Terrova Bow-Mount Trolling Motor (80-lb Thrust, 54"Shaft)
I bought this Minn Kota Terrova Bow-Mount Trolling Motor (80-lb Thrust, 54"Shaft)about 11 months ago and am very, very pleased with it. I have a 22 ft., 3000 lb. deckboat and this trolling motor easily manages my boat even in windy conditions. I tested/used it in 20 mph winds and it has pulled the boat against the waves and winds. I also use it extensively to troll and it seems to last forever on my 24v (2 battery) setup.
The best features are the 18' cord that is attached to the foot pedal. I can sit/stand just about anywhere on my boat and steer it. Most of the time I will just hold or set the foot pedal beside me and touch the bottom steering buttons with my finger. The foot pedal is also very, very easy to use with your foot.
Another great feature I like is it has the upgradable head so you can get the gps option for it. As soon as I can afford this $400 upgrade, I am going to get it as the gps function lets you set a location, like a brushpile, and it will keep you...
Take your fishing seriously!
If you take your fishing seriously this is a must have trolling motor. If you don't have a foot pedal control on your trolling motor you don't know what you're missing.
No regrets... Tons of power
This is installed on a 22' pontoon boat. Moves the boat around like a toy. Top speed (without wind) is around 3 mph on my boat. Does everything it is designed to do.

It's good for coral fishing - for short distance. Only I would suggest - replace original cable with rope (it's in a package). The way how cable connected - wrong, clip doesn't hold the cable loop and and you will have a good chance to lost arrow. Other is good.

Oakley Men's Ten Polarized Rectangular Sunglasses,Polished Brown Smoke Frame/Tungsten Iridium Lens, one size

False Advertisement
Update 9/18/12 - The seller contacted me and offered a return for full refund. I appreciate the offer, but I actually like the glasses and will be keeping them. This still does not change the fact that they are not polorized as advertised, but they are Oakleys and they do fit great. Just make sure to look at the lenses before buying to make sure they say POLORIZED on them if you want polorized ones. Changed from 1 to 3 stars because of seller trying to fix things.

The description of the glasses stated that they were polarized. Once receiving the glasses I realized that they are not, they are the standard Ten's that are not polarized. They are still nice glasses to say the least, however it would be nice if the seller did not advertise them as polarized in the description. After all the return fees and restocking fees it is not even worth returning these so I will keep them. Just disappointed that the seller falsly advertized the product. I'm only giving the glasses...

Lifetime Tandem Kayak with Back Rests (Green, 10- Feet)

The best multipurpose kayak available.
Lifetime markets 3 versions of it's Manta kayak each with a specific color and included features. They are all based on the same HDPE hull and as such have the same weight capacity and tracking characteristics. These are not well suited for regular use as a touring kayak it's short length and wide beam give it great stability that simply isn't available in most kayaks without the use of an outrigger. This width at the same time reduces the distance you'll recieve for each stroke. Tracking quality actually increases as the load increases without a further decrease in distance/stroke due to the hulls dual pontoon design. It's overall size is compact enough for 1 person to handle on land if they have the strength to deal with it's weight of 60 lbs. I highly recommend a scupper dolly although I was able to deal with it balanced upsidedown on my back and across my shoulders.

This lime green base version doesn't have the hatch, rod holders or fold down paddle storage clips of the...
Excellent Family recreational kayak
Pros:Versatile, 3 seat positions, Tracks well as a single, Stable
Cons:Difficult to load on SUVs, Heavy almost 3 ft wide
Best Uses:Recreation paddling, Photography around lakes, Fishing, Family use with Kids

I bought this kayak primarily to introduce my young son to the sport by doing tandem paddles with him on the local lakes around. This is not a kayak meant for ocean trips. Its very well built and thoughtfully designed. You may need longer than usual paddles since the kayak is almost 3 feet wide near the rear seat position.
Used as a tandem the Kayak is a bit slow but thats because it is only 10 ft long compared to similar sit-on-top tandems that are 12 ft or 13 ft long and heavier. Paddling as a tandem with a lighter smaller person in the front seat position the kayak experiences a slight lift in the front making it that much harder to track. Having said that its an excellent kayak for someone looking to enjoy short couple of hours of paddling on a calm...
SUPER STABLE
__HIGHLY RECOMMENDED___ as a FUN BOAT (or fishing platform) for 1 to 3 passengers! Not the best design for touring or distance paddling. Very strong and well designed hull. Seat clips recessed and unobtrusive - comfortable and ergonomically designed seating and foot stops. Seemingly indestructible and very hard to capsize (easily righted when intentionally flipped when swimming alongside)

Pros: Easily manages its 500lb capacity - comfortably carries two adults and a child, - also handles well by a solo paddler. Re-boarded from the water with little effort (after intentionally jumping overboard)

Cons: Bulky and awkward to be carried by one person (though very possible @ 55lbs). Molded hull handles make carrying by 2 persons a pleasure!

Wise Bass Boat Large Center Seat (Grey/Charcoal/Red, 17-Inch)

Great seat but 17 and 14 inch seats look VERY different
So I bought this seat together with the 14 inch version to build a smaller bench for my boat.
The seats look great and match the 48 inch bench I bought nicely.
Unfortunately, the 14 and 17 inch seats are completely differently formed and designed, which put a damper on my application.
It still works but it looks kind of funky.
To check out what I am talking about, go to the WISE homepage and review their 14 and 17 inch seats.
The problem seems to be that Amazon advertised the seats under one item and just differentiated by width. So I thought they would match better.
Seats are otherwise good quality material and thick and comfortable.
Hinges (just like the bench) needed to be moved back to provide more seating surface (voids warranty), but I bit that warranty bullet for the added comfort.
Nice to have cup holders and stings to hold them in the closed position during transport.
I believe I actually got some of the last seats from Amazon and...

NIKON M-223 8486 2-8x32 Riflescope (Black)

Already Broken After 40 Rounds

Excellent Nikon Scope for the Money!
I have only used this for 100 yard shots to date. However, the sighting in is super easy. The windage and elevation dials are click adjusted by hand / fingers. Really easy! Then once you are zeroed at 100 yards, you lift the dial caps and set to 100 yards elevation and Zero windage. Then, for adding yardage, you keep the dial (pushed in) and turn the elevation dial to the desired distance. I cannot vouch for the effectiveness yet, as I have not shot further than 100 yards, due to my shooting range limitations. However, remembe you must be shooting ammo (55 grain) with ratings of precisley 3240 FPS for the scope to be accurate. (Hornady 55 grain V max is a good match!)
Feels like a solid scope. Dials feel sturdy with click adjustment. I paired mine with the Nikon 223 scope mount and it functions great and looks super.
Nicest scope I have had.
Nicest scope I have ever had, optics seem very good and I like the 4" eye clearance. I have not been to the range to sight it in yet so will know more later.

Ocean Kayak Tetra 12 Angler Fishing Kayak-Sand

Nice but not perfect
I bought one locally instead of online. I like it. I'm under 6' and around 175 lbs and I was a little disappointed in the amount of water it did take on in the footwells. This is my first sit-on, I was used to the dry ride of my sit-in kayak. It performed well and is easy to fish on, although tricky getting into the forward hold while on the water. I don't feel it is stable enough to stand on, so I haven't tried to do that while paddling around in the swamp or on the lakes. I bought the ocean kayak scupper plugs that fit the foot/seat scupper holes and it is a much dryer ride. After a full day of fishing without the plugs, the seat (my drawers!) were soaked, the water would splash up the seat scuppers while paddling around. No need to plug the cargo area scuppers in back. If it didn't need or it came with the scupper plugs and an anchor system, I'd give it five stars. The rod pod is very useful, and I shove a lot of stuff in there; shorter rods work well, longer rods would...
Tetra 12 Angler
I took out my Tetra 12 Angler for the first time yesterday and I love it. Pretty dry ride for the most part and I'm 6foot and 180lbs.

Seahorse SE-920F Waterproof Protective Wheeled Carry-on Hardcase with Foam (Gun Metal)

I used to use nothing but Pelican cases
I now have 4 of this exact same case. I took a risk and bought this instead of going with the pelican case that is around the same price range for some camera gear. I was well satisfied and beyond! The case is rugged and strong. The foam is great, easy to cut and shape how you need with a couple layers so that you can cut holes for a camera with its lens on and or off. The wheels don't look like much but they work very well. I use it on some pretty crazy surfaces, and being that I'm in a electric wheelchair I normally have trouble dragging something like this or a suitcase but this case is very smooth and easy for me to use.

Being a disabled vet, I've banged this thing around quite a bit. It takes a beating and still everything inside is in great shape. In one case I keep about $15,000.00 worth of camera gear and I do not worry about anything getting destroyed. The other cases I bought I use for personal protection fire arms and I even use one to keep my laptop...
